Kennedy Ohene Agyapong Set to Revolutionize Western North with Chipboard Factory
Kennedy Agyapong, 2028 presidential hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), plans to establish a chipboard factory in the Western North Region. According to Pious Vincent Abekah, Campaign Coordinator for Agyapong in the region, the initiative aims to create employment opportunities for local youth and boost economic activities.
The region’s abundant forest resources make it an ideal location for the factory, providing the necessary raw materials for chipboard production. Abekah emphasized that the factory will not only create jobs but also support local timber and forestry businesses, contributing to sustainable economic growth.
Agyapong’s vision includes tackling unemployment through job creation, promoting agriculture, establishing factories, and combating corruption and bribery. Abekah highlighted Agyapong’s commitment to discipline, accountability, and national progress, particularly in addressing the galamsey menace.
Mr. Agyapong also plans to decentralize government departments to improve accessibility and accelerate development across the country. In response to concerns about his outspoken demeanor, Abekah defended Agyapong’s assertiveness, attributing it to his refusal to stay silent when things are done incorrectly.
As part of his Presidential Flagbearer tour, Kennedy Agyapong will visit the Western North Region from September 5th to 7th, 2025. His campaign team is optimistic about his chances, emphasizing his dedication to Ghana’s growth and development.
