The Western North Regional Directorate of NADMO has launched a Regional Climate Change Committee to tackle climate change impacts in the region. The committee will focus on strategic planning and interventions to mitigate climate change effects on crop production and livelihoods.

Speaking at the inauguration, Western North Regional NADMO Director, Madam Esther Oppong Amponsah, stressed the need for urgent action, citing unpredictable weather patterns affecting farmers. Committee members pledged to collaborate to strengthen climate resilience and reduce disaster risks in the region.
